Meeting Re-Cap

There was a parent meeting on Sunday where Coach Dave went over the season to date.  The main topics of conversation were the upcoming Fall Splash and Swim-A-Thon on November1 and the suit, apparel, cap orders which are going on right now.

Sponsorships

The team is still accepting sponsors.  If you need a sponsorship form, email Lainey.  They need to be returned to the PO Box with a check for $250 by October 10. 

Meets

Today is the last day to sign up for the Jack Thompson meet.  Please do so ASAP.  If you have any trouble with your Direct Athletics account, please call Lainey at 859-497-1254.  I will be able to help you the most if you call while you are at your computer.  The Wildcat Autumn Classic is on DA as well, please go ahead and sign up for that meet now.

Carmel Meet

We’re sorry about the confusion yesterday about this meet.  Two officials within the Carmel team had a misunderstanding, and it unfortunately lead to us having to do our entries in about 8 hours.  If you did not get to enter yesterday, email Dave and Lainey and we will see what we can do.  However, it is unlikely that we will be able to add people. 

Suits, Apparel, etc..

There is team suit, warm-up, bag, parka, cap, and apparel info on the bulletin board at the pool.  I’ve also attached all of those documents to this email for you.  Parka and personalized cap orders are due on October 6.  Apparel orders are due on Oct. 13.  Suits, warm-ups, and bags need to be ordered at Pannell ASAP.  The only required attire is a team suit and a team cap (if a cap is worn.) 

Pannell Swim Shop has a range of sizes for you to try on of the hoodies and flannel pants.  They also have all of the suit and warm-up sizes for you to try on. 

Facility

The facility continues to come along nicely.  Please remind your swimmers to do their part to keep it nice by picking up their trash and trying not to forget their items.

Equipment

The swimmers need to bring all of their equipment to each practice.  It needs to be transported each day right now until we have a method to keep it secure while other groups are in the pool.  Please put your name on everything!!!!

Lost and Found

Will Kimmerer is missing his blue crocs from yellwo group.  Travis Johnson is missing his size 11 black “Jordans” from blue group.  Please bring them back if you accidentally picked them up.

Bingo

Please check the Bingo schedule that went out yesterday and make sure you work on your assigned days!!  If you need a sub check the sub list on the website.  You can also trade with another family.
