Eric Bruck got his Olympic Trial cut in the 50 freestyle! He swam a 23.39 long course to get the cut. He finished 2nd at the Junior National meet with this swim! Congratulations to Eric, his family, and the coaches for this amazing achievement!

State A
Congratulations to all of our swimmers who swam in the KY State A Championships! We had some outstanding performances and can't mention them all but here are a few highlights. Jessica Dalton won the 11&12 girls 50 breast and 100 breast. Madison Sapp won the 11-12 girls 50 back. Gracie Sapp in the 50 free, 29.4 and 4th place as a 9 year old. Eric Bruck in the 50 free? another state record, 20.31! The 11-12 girls medley relay team of Madison Sapp, Jessica Dalton, Colbey Valdez, and Celene Steele finished first place with an amazing time of 1:56.9. And finally, the Open boys 400 free relay team of Seth Broster, Tyler Adams, Cole Pleasants, and Eric Bruck won the event with a time 3:10.92 and qualified for Jr. Nationals! This is LEXD?s first junior national relay.
State 8 & Under Championship
One highlight of the meet was our 8-under girls A medley relay set a new state record! They beat the old record by over 2 seconds on their way to a gold medal finish. Way to go Mallory Shake, Abbey Wester, Hannah Freibert and Lindsey Bravard! These same four girls also were state champions in the 200 free relay

Dolphin Reps elected to KY Swimming Board of Directors
At the
recent KY swimming board meeting, two Dolphin representatives were honored
with elected positions on the KY swimming board of directors. Kent
Pleasants was elected to a two-year term as Vice Chairman of Finance and
Coach Dave Doolin was elected to a two-year term as Vice chairman of Program
Development and Operations. This is a great opportunity for our club to
make an impact across the state. Congratulations and Thanks, Kent and Dave!

BINGO WORK COMMITMENT - Each family is responsible for working Bingo sessions for the Lexington Dolphins. Families with one swimmer in the white or yellow group will be required to work 6 sessions per year. Families with more than one swimmer or a swimmer in the red or blue group will be required to work 9 sessions per year. Failure to attend a scheduled Bingo session will result in a $100 fine.

Current member registration and team contract is available on the registration page. The link is at the top of the Home Page. This must be submitted to Lainey by JULY 20th to assure your spot won't be taken as the team anticipates a full membership this season.
If you know anyone who is interested in swimming for Dolphins in the fall, please have them email Lainey at lgneal@adelphia.net. We are beginning to set up new swimmer evaluations.
